Hot off the Japanese comes word today that Toshiba will cease production of HD-DVD players, thus marking the end of the format war. You can find the original article (in Japanese) HERE. If you really want to know what the article says, google translation does a pretty good job. Can't wait to read Microsoft's official response to this news.
Ahh, I know that this post is totally unrelated to gravure idols in any way, but just thought I would share the news.
