SNWPS - Shiro Neko Wallpaper Series

Once you have been collecting gravure pictures for a while you see that, like everything else in life, patterns appear. In the gravure idol world, this applies to the type of pictures that appear in photo books and picture sets. One such image that you see again and again in gravure shoots, is the picture of an idol, wearing a skimpy swimming costume (usually a bikini), on some deserted beach. It of course feeds the 'stranded on a deserted island with the women of your dreams' scenario, and when done well, as with this picture, fits that fantasy perfectly. Hot off the Japanese comes word today that Toshiba will cease production of HD-DVD players, thus marking the end of the format war. You can find the original article (in Japanese) HERE. Ahh, I know that this post is totally unrelated to gravure idols in any way, but just thought I would share the news.

As requested by a rabid Sayaka fan, here is an old wallpaper re-done in the usual standard resolutions; 1280x1024, 1600x1200, 1680x1050.

Well..er, I know thats a weird title, so just let me take a sec to explain. Yua is an Japanese AV star (AV = Adult Video = Porn Star) and when AV stars do photo shoots, most of the time they are either semi or fully naked, so to find good pictures of them to use for non adult wallpapers can be difficult. This image for instance, comes from a Graphis set that was shot in Bali, in which Yua is mostly naked. Luckily there are some pics of her with her clothes on (like this one) that are worthy of having on your desktop. Res for these wallpapers: 1280x1024, 1600x1200, 1680x1050.

As requested by an anonymous commenter, here is an old wallpaper of Sayaka (click HERE for the original) in 1680x1050 and 1024x768 . Which is very help because most of the time thats what gravue idols are wearing. Now if your looking at the wallpapers and thinking to yourself, hhhmmm...she looks rather short, you would be spot on.
